What Is WHX Dubai?

WHX Dubai, short for World Health Expo, is the new name of Arab Health, a healthcare trade show with a 50-year history. Its organiser, Informa Markets, renamed it WHX, and in 2026 it moved for the first time from the Dubai World Trade Centre to the larger Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. Its sister show for laboratories, the former Medlab Middle East, is now called WHX Labs.

The 2026 edition was the biggest in the event's history. Organisers expected more than 235,000 professional visits and over 4,300 exhibitors from more than 180 countries at WHX Dubai, and over 4,800 exhibitors across WHX Dubai and WHX Labs together. It was held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.

Over four days, the team met doctors, hospital owners, distributors and buyers from many countries. Some conversations were quick introductions; others turned into product demonstrations and detailed talks about what hospitals need. As the team wrote after the show: "At Pulse, we don't just build medical technology. We build impact."

Pulse was one of about 400 Indian companies at the show. An India Pavilion organised by PHARMEXCIL under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry showed pharmaceuticals, medical devices and healthcare solutions, and was opened by India's Consul General in Dubai, Satish Sivan. Industry leaders at the event described India's medical devices sector as one of the fastest-growing in the world.
